Modulus is led by an engineer who spent almost 25 years on mission-critical defense and aerospace systems — work where "mostly correct" doesn't ship, and where understanding the operation always comes before touching the machine.
Everyday businesses run on systems too: the estimating workbook, the whiteboard schedule, the group text that coordinates six crews. Those systems are critical — they're just fragile. Modulus exists to give operations-heavy businesses the kind of software discipline that used to be reserved for flight hardware: studied carefully, built plainly, supported for the long run.
We work two ways. As consultants, we design and build custom operational software for individual businesses. As a product studio, we build and run our own — starting with Scape, our field operations platform. Each side sharpens the other.
